Aurora Systems

Aurora Systems

Aurora Systems began as an idea while I was building an OpenSim grid of my own.

As I searched the Hypergrid for the tools and systems the grid needed, I discovered that many available options were outdated, difficult to configure, no longer supported, or simply not designed for the way virtual worlds operate today. Rather than continue trying to make those systems fit, I began creating tools built around the needs I was encountering firsthand.

What started as a solution for one grid soon grew into something with a much broader purpose.

Aurora Systems develops reliable, practical, and thoughtfully designed tools for the people who bring OpenSim worlds to life. Its systems are created for grid and region owners, property managers, venue operators, merchants, community leaders, creators, and residents who need technology that works without becoming an obstacle.

Every Aurora Systems product begins with a genuine need. Systems are developed and tested through active use within DigiWorldz, where ideas can become working products in real regions, rentals, venues, businesses, and community spaces. This hands-on process makes it possible to identify problems, test solutions, and refine each feature through experience rather than assumption.

The growing Aurora Systems collection includes rental and property-management systems, streaming and entertainment tools, contest boards, notice boards, and other products designed to support virtual businesses and communities. Some products work independently, while others can connect through a larger management network, allowing owners to choose the structure that best fits their property, region, or grid.

At the heart of Aurora Systems is the belief that good technology should be both capable and approachable. Owners should have meaningful control without facing unnecessary complexity, and users should be able to understand a system without needing technical expertise. Menus, configuration options, messages, and management features are all designed with clarity, flexibility, and everyday use in mind.

Aurora Systems is not limited to one grid, one region, or one community. It began with the desire to build something better for my own virtual world, but its purpose is to help people throughout OpenSim build something better for theirs.
