Aurora Fashions may be a new branch of Aurora, but its roots are anything but new.
Fashion was part of my earliest creative journey in virtual worlds. Beginning in Second Life, I created under names such as Glamours and Moonlight Fashion, learning how clothing could become more than something worn by an avatar. It could express personality, confidence, mood, fantasy, and identity.
As my work evolved and eventually moved into OpenSim, my focus expanded into building, design, technology, regions, and community experiences. The idea of returning to fashion remained quietly in the background—waiting, much like the name Aurora once did, for the right time and the right home.
Aurora Fashions brings that part of my creative history forward under the Aurora name.
The branch will explore clothing, accessories, and other wearable creations designed to help residents express who they are within the virtual world. Collections may range from casual and everyday styles to elegant, imaginative, dramatic, or fantasy-inspired pieces, leaving room for both familiar favorites and entirely new ideas.
Every creation will be shaped by the same principles found throughout Aurora: thoughtful design, attention to detail, hands-on development, and a willingness to continue learning and improving. Style matters, but so do fit, usability, texture, movement, and the experience of the person wearing it.
Aurora Fashions represents both a homecoming and a new beginning. It reconnects Aurora with one of my original creative passions while opening the door to new tools, techniques, styles, and possibilities within OpenSim.
Virtual fashion allows us to become whoever we imagine ourselves to be. Aurora Fashions exists to help bring that vision to life.
